Injury Recall Technique

IRT (Injury Recall Technique) is a gentle procedure used following a recent or ancient injury or trauma. IRT restores muscle balance to pre-injury status, often dramatically relieving pain and restoring range of motion.

We examine every patient using the very important assessment. This method of diagnosis was developed by a foot surgeon and further advanced by the well known Chiropractic researcher and educator Dr. Walter H. Schmitt. The late Robert Crotty, DPM, made the first observations of what we now call IRT. His protege and colleague, Gordon Bronston, DPM, made additional contributions to what they called the “Muscle Chain Response.”  In the late 1980’s, Walter Schmitt, DC, added manual muscle testing and applied kinesiology assessment procedures to the original observations and more fully described the “Muscle Chain Response” in terms of modern neurological concepts.

“Like many other chiropractors around the world, I would say this is the most important procedure I do to help patients get better. If I had to choose, I would perform IRT over any other corrective procedure. It is done using in conjunction with QAT as a scanning procedure to determine previous injuries that may be interfering with the brains ability to maintain normal muscle and joint function. If a patients has had a mammogram, a root canal or has sprained an ankle I can guarantee there is a need for removing the neurological memory contributing to spinal dysfunction.” Dr Mark

Quantum Alignment Technique (QAT)

QAT is a method of diagnoses and treatment which does not require any of the traditional chiropractic manipulations or adjustments. It is particularly effective for those people who dislike manipulation or have are concerned about their degree of osteoporosis. Before I explain how it works you should know the basis for all chiropractic treatment. read more»
